In need of a massage

I want to first say that I am sorry that I have not posted in a bit.  I get on here and start reading other blogs that I do love and tend to forget about my own.  I know I should be spanked at once.

I have been thinking lately that I need to go get a massage.  I started going to get massages a long time ago.  I really love them to as they are so very relaxing. I tend to get massages only from woman therapist as it seems that they can give more pressure on my back.  I know that, that is the wrong way of thinking as no man as have ever given me a massage.  So yea I know my thinking is fucked up.  I tend to get headaches and that is my que that it is time for a massage.

I love them!  I like the hard and sharp type massages.  Yes they may hurt like hell while they are doing them.  But man let me tell you I feel super awesome after they are done. Blogger of The Week!

I am going to start a new item here at The Sanctuary, Blogger of the week.  I was thinking the other day that there are a lot of Bloggers out there that are very good.  Some of them may very not have a shit load of hits but their content is simply outstanding.   These bloggers could have content about every day stuff in their lives, news and reviews, adult content, funny content, sad content, and so much more. I wish I could give out a fancy award for Blogger Profile of The Week..but I am sad to say that I cannot. What I can give is credit where credit is due!

Tattooing has been around for a very long time. I think that, while I do not have one personally, a tattoo is very sexy. I think that seeing the work of art on someone is awesome. What we need are leaders who the courage to stand up to the right wing neo-cons and say Bin Laden must be stopped and Iraq is NOT the answer. This President has failed and he has cost this nation dearly. What we need are leaders that will enact the checks and balance that is suppose to be in place. What we need are leaders that will stop this fucking bullshit!  While we waste time, money, and lives in Iraqi Bin Laden and his network goes free.  Shrub has done nothing to even try to capture Bin Laden!

What we need is are leaders that are willing to do what is best for this nation and not what is best for their wallets!

A Daddy’s love is never ending!

As some of you know I have a 15 year old daughter and a 12 year old daughter. I was thinking this evening about them growing up.

I have held them when they were babies, fix their boo-boos, held them when they were upset, stayed up with them when they were sick and even held their hair back as they pucked. I have thought about the feelings I had in my heart when they were born. With my oldest scared to death and with the youngest happy. I done all the normal Daddy things such as counting fingers and toes and holding them when they wee bitty little ones.

Now as they grow closer to being adults it scares the living hell out of me. As a Father I want them to be better then I and do better then I. I want them to soar like a prize winning show horse. I want them to be able to be or do anything that their hearts desire. I want to see them reach for the stars and keep going.

Now as they grow older I have those feelings of being mighty pissed off when I see some son of a bitch hurt them( such as my oldest daughters current ex-boyfriend) or being upset to see them in pain from their boy love heart ache. So many times I feel myself wanting to reach out and bitch slap some shit head for hurting them.

Being a parent is never easy. So many times we have to make calls that our kids do not agree with. Having teens isn’t always easy either. Neither is having a teenage female PMS’ing LOL. My oldest Daughter is very head strong. She gets that from her mother. The youngest she has a quick temper..she gets that from her mother also not her sweet and loving Daddy.

I know the day will come when they walk down that isle to start a new phase in their lives. That is a day that I know will come and a day I do not look forward to as my babies will no longer be here at home with us. I can only hope that I did right by them. That they will proud of their Daddy and that the lessons in life that I helped teach them will be able to carry them for the rest of their lives.

I tell my girls all the time that no matter what you do and no matter what happens I will always love you and I always support you. My love for them is never ending and there is nothing or no one that can ever take that away or change it! Even when I get upset with something that they have done I will always love them, care for them, and believe in them.

Of course their are times where a Daddy must step in with a firm hand and place some kids back on the right track.

My girls make me proud each and every day! My oldest daughter is very, very good at playing the violin and my youngest is very good at drawing, keeping us laughing. The one thing they both share in equal is their love for their family and their support for their parents and each other.

Some say that, that is a good thing. I say that is a Daddy’s love!
