Rush Limbaugh ~ A Disgrace!

 

People from around the nation know Rush Limbaugh and we know that he is an addict, a liar, a puppet, and now we know that he is without question a disgrace!  I would like to note that this American supports moveone.org nad their ad against United States Gen. David Petraeus.  Mr. Limbaugh, like many other closed minded Americans, attacked moveon.org for the ad that they aired on television.

During the September 26 broadcast of his nationally syndicated radio show, Rush Limbaugh called service members who advocate U.S. withdrawal from Iraq “phony soldiers.”

Mr. Limbaugh said that moveon.org were disgraces for their ad against Gen. Petraeus.  He said that they sold out our nation and our solders.  He also stated that they should be shut down for their actions.  The question is calling those brave men and women serving in Iraq, that advocate leaving Iraq, “phony soldiers” does this not also prove that Limbaugh is himself now for fact a proven disgrace?  …before you think about that there is more:

  He made the comment while discussing with a caller a conversation he had with a previous caller, “Mike from Chicago,” who said he “used to be military,” and “believe[s] that we should pull out of Iraq.” Limbaugh told the second caller, whom he identified as “Mike, this one from Olympia, Washington,” that “[t]here’s a lot” that people who favor U.S. withdrawal “don’t understand” and that when asked why the United States should pull out, their only answer is, ” ‘Well, we just gotta bring the troops home.’ … ‘Save the — keeps the troops safe’ or whatever,” adding, “[I]t’s not possible, intellectually, to follow these people.” “Mike” from Olympia replied, “No, it’s not, and what’s really funny is, they never talk to real soldiers. They like to pull these soldiers that come up out of the blue and talk to the media.” Limbaugh interjected, “The phony soldiers.” The caller, who had earlier said, “I am a serving American military, in the Army,” agreed, replying, “The phony soldiers.”

Mr. Limbaugh the owners of moveon.org are not a disgrace, they did not sell out their nation, and they did not sell out our brave men and women serving our nation.  No, Mr. Limbaugh, you did that all by yourself.  You have been doing this for years and years.  The sad thing is that people let you by with it.  Your sponsors let you by with it and your company lets you by with it.  When one looks for the best meaning of the word disgrace they need not look no further then Rush Limbaugh!

Now it is time to fight back.  Now it is time for all of us who care about our nation and our military to stand together and support action.

Honoring all Americans serving in the Armed Forces of the United States and condemning the attack by broadcaster Rush Limbaugh on the integrity and professionalism of some of those Americans.

On Monday I will introduce a resolution honoring all Americans serving in the Armed Forces and condemning this unwarranted attack on the integrity and professionalism of those in the Armed Forces who choose to exercise their constitutional right to express their opinions regarding U.S. military action in Iraq. “ThinkProgress has obtained a letter being circulated on Capitol Hill today by the Senate Democratic Leadership that calls on Clear Channel CEO Mark Mays to repudiate its employee Rush Limbaugh’s “phony troops” remark.

The letter, signed by Sens. Harry Reid (D-NV, Dick Durbin (D-IL), Charles Schumer (D-NY), and Patty Murray (D-WA), states that Limbaugh’s comments were “outrageous” and “unconscionable”

Rush Limbaugh has been allowed to trash Americans for to long.  He trashed Sen. John Kerry for his military record. Rush Limbaugh is like all the other neo-con puppets today.  He is a disgrace to this nation and to those who have given their lives to serve and protect it.  It is time for Americans to stop this shit.  It is time for Americans to take back their nation and clean up the shit.  We can start by demanding that action against Limbaugh be taken.  The we can put the bastard neo-cons out of a job!
